Lavoob Essentials
LaVoob is Martin Howard's project to unearth new, simple, rich melodies. With virtually no formal training or professional experience, he has launched into producing keyboard rock instrumentals. Using a simple mixture of instruments LaVoob weaves a progression of rhythms with organ and guitar solos that expose and explore.
Cafe LaVoob is an album in progress which carries a theme of travel. "Coming Back" recalls the bitter-sweet feeling of returning from a journey on the continent. Two mixes of this instrumentals explore idea from different angles. The outcome is liberating and engaging. Upbeat numbers - Train Tripper, and Here and There have a lighter side.
