Hey, im Derek n ive created, recored, everything here. So about me.
ok well really im not actually doing this to make money or anything im just here cause i find it fun 2 make the music n i like 2 listen 2 it my self so i decided you might enjoy it as well. stop by, have a listen, n tell me whut u think! Every helpful criticism brings me closer 2 perfecting my style and music. so please if you dont like whut u here tell me, and tell me why. if you do like whut u here (and i really hope you do:D) tell me as well and tell me what about it you like.
I have spread my self out on which genre of EDM music i create from Ambient to Hardcore. The first GOOD song ive ever made was "Runnin' From Sheep". dont ask about the name i thought of random words. Runnin' from Sheep is a FAST paced electro song that is kind of short. After that i went into Techno and messed w/ that and made tracks like Join Them
Vicda... It all begain with the name. I was playing a game called black and white (a god simulator) and i needed a name. I began putting random silibals togeather. First i got Vi. Next i got Si but i placed C in its stead. last Da. When i first created the name I wanted it to sound like Vi-si-da. But the spelling came out quite diffrent. Vicda! I decided to stick with this diffrent word and became my....second name.almost everything i did on the internet i used that name. From Warcraft 3 to Xbox Live (not to mention here)
I listen to the heaviest and the fastest of the EDM (electronic Dance Music) genres. I listen to Speedcore and Terrorcore. Speedcore is basicially any music that has a loud booming bass and has BPM (beats per minute) of 200+. The average song is around 300-500bpm. Terrorcore is the kind of music that when u listen to it give u the urge to start an oldfashoned Human Sacrifice. Its basicially the sickest, evilest **** u can find. It has Loud basslines and sounds of people being tortured and someone yelling F*CK every once n a while. If u wish to listen to some speedcore look for these artists. KOMPEX and FRAZZBASS. (can b found on Itunes and Myspace) If u wana listen to Terrorcore look for ScreamerClauz (ive only found him on Myspace)

Hi, Derek. I'm glad to see someone finally using the forums! I'll take a listen to your songs when I get to work (I'm soooo bad!), but the site works faster there for me. I quit Reverbnation for a time because it seemed rather a useless endeavour, and I still don't have ALL of my songs on there, but they have changed the way they do business a little bit and I've actually gained a total of TWO fans! It's not my favourite site by any means, but who knows? Some good could come of it. Like I said, I'll take a listen and tell you what my favourite song is of yours. About the football one, I haven't heard it yet. This is American football, right? If it's American football, they usually go for a lot of brass and "oomph". Don't know if you know what I mean by "oomph" because I haven't listened yet, but I will today. Have a great day! Anna |
